Hawthorn could possibly bring back some big names including Birchall, Bailey, Hodge, Shiels and Franklin the question is who will come in or stay for Gunston ( quad). I am interested to see if Spaghner will stay in the line up I thought he played a promising game v St kilda. What are your thoughts?.

Scrads

If Gunner is out, hoepfully that means Grimmers gets another game.

Simpkin will probably be unlucky to miss out, someone like Brad Hill may get a rest...

If Bailey comes back, I can't see Grimley staying in the team - would be too top heavy. Spangher will be out and I'd think they'd be cautious with Gunston so he will probably miss.

Unfortunately Simpkin or Hill will lose their spot I reckon. Simpkin has played reasonalby well and Hill's run is important so will be disappointing to see either get dropped.

That is waht I meant, IN: Bailey, Buddy OUT: Gunner, Spangher. Assuming they keep the same structure that means Grimmers keeps his spot. Not sure if Bailey, Hale, Buddy, Rough and Grim will all fit in the same side though.

SO after all that... Buddy, Hodge and Birch in for Spangher, Grimmers(:() and Simpkin.

I fully expect Grimmers to come in if Gunston pulls out late.

You don't think it will be Bailey? Clarko has said before he feels the team is at its best with Bailey in there.

Just noticed that Bailey is emergency and Grimley is not :o If Bailey is fit and Clarko thinks Bailey is in the best team, why is he missing out this week? haha

Hawka

Yeah I agree. Not sure what the numbers are but I know we have had a high percentage of games this year where we've had a late withdrawal  ;)

haha we have a high percentage anyway only losing 3 games!
Bailey was a late out against the tiges

henry

Yeah seems strange for him to be named as an emergency. As you say reckon there's a decent chance of him being a late in.

henry

Yep as we predicted, Bailey IN, Guerra OUT.

Interesting swap, ruckman in for a small back  :-\. Definitely one of the talls will get the red vest.

MMM just said we've had 12 late outs in 20 games this year lol, obviously you get some last minute injuries that were legit but don't get why we just don't not name the blokes who won't play.

Go the hawks, hope we get up tonight!

Vinny

Your three ins this week were huge for you!

Buddy, Hodge and Birchall all up for BOG.

Great game for the Hawks.

Mr.Craig

Good win. Always work to do though.

Not sure Hill is doing enough. Would have much rather seen him as sub and Savage starting.

Yeah same, I reckon he could be getting tired as this is the first season he's played pretty much every game, and only second season at afl level. Putting him as the sub could have more impact, or maybe give him a rest before finals. Savage was close to if not our best last week, pretty harsh to make him sub this week, was very surprised when I saw that.

Absolutely loved the game of whitex, great to see him find some from after nearly 12 months out.
