Duffield or Grimes

Need a replacement for Clisby and will most likely have to play as D6 with Ibbo and Wilson no certainties.  Who is the best option for this week.

Haha yep. I've got him on my bench, after bringing him in for $515k at round 12  ::)

Got Grimes 3 weeks ago as bench cover and he has been a spud as well. Was ok on the weekend though with a 90 odd

Some other options? Wouldn't go near these 2.. Yes they fanfooty friendly or favourites but honestly they are no good.. I started with Duff but moved him on pretty quickly.. Grimes, never again list for heaps now.. always an injury concern and now a run with player..no appeal for him..Get someone else but not Yarran!

Ellis? Only $414k, great tank, and can go big?

Thanks for the feedback.  Defenders are a tough one.  I had Ellis, picked him up at about $234k when he bottomed out ,and i was very happy with him but when he got injured I traded him out.  he was back in 2 weeks, so i did regret getting rid of him.

All my other lines are fine, but the backs have been an issue for me.  I traded out Luke Brown a while ago for Birchall and that week Birch got 40 and injured, so i flicked him for Ibbo.  The irony is that brown is still getting a game each week.  i brought in Charlie dixon last week, but now need to fick Clisby and only have $365k.

My other option is to bring Staker back into the backline and buy someone like Ballantine or Luke Bruest or any other fwd in that price bracket.  The fwd i bought in would be for bench cover only, so it would come down to whether Staker is a better option than grimes or duffield.  I should have perhaps listed Satker in the Poll, but tried to keep it simple. 

Should I play staker instead of these blokes, or is there another defender worth looking at below $365k.
