Has returned to the bulldogs in some pretty great form with scores of 75, 96, 76, 92, 117 against Essendon, Hawthorn, West Coast, Sydney and Carlton respectively.

His next three opponents are Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne in the GF....

Priced at only $376k, anyone got the kahunas to bring him in? He was pick number 5 in the 2007 draft, and is owned by 0.52% of teams...

I'm really glad Grant is displaying some great form, would be pleasing for doggies supporter. But he is still classed a spud in my books, and needs to show at least 1 season of "solid scoring" to get out of that category, he is on the right track, but I wouldn't risk it

That is the smokiest smokie. The only thing that scares people of unproven players like Grant is they are more than capable of pumping out a <60 score

You'd be nuts to pickup Jarrad Grant at 376k when Wellingham is priced the same and is a star. Even with fixtures taken into account, Wellingham is playing inspired footy at the moment and looks a cut above the rest of the WCE midfield (saying nothing at all).

you're probably right, and I don't think I'll be getting either of those players. Was just throwing it out there. Will be interesting to see what Grant does for the rest of the season, though...

Is Wellingham really a star? He's always has the ability but its always been his consistency that hurts him.

I think he more means more of a proven player compared to Grant. But I also believe one of the reasons why Wellingham came back  home to West Coast is because he was guaranteed to be given the opportunity to become a leader and a star at the club. You look at his current games at WCE compared to his time at Collingwood, he has been given opportunites in the centre clearances and has been given the ball to "make" something happen. Which he didn't have with the quality of Pendles ,Swan and Thomas, and the rise of Beams and Sidebottom, he had fell out of favour. I hope he finds his potential at West Coast :) he is a class player.
