Mayne v Nroo

I have all the standard forwards and looking to add one of these boys this week. Nroo has had a big score v sydney already this year but   5 games at the scg he has never cracked the ton with an average in the 70's. Mayne is a tackling machine and is in great form but hasnt scored a ton away from patersons all year.......please help!

I'd be backing in N.Roo. Should at least get 80, while Mayne could do anything...From tonning up to spudding up....

Can't trust mayne. He's never been a DT gun, and isn't one now. As soon as Pav finds some form (could be this game) he'll see a lot less of it, and he'll probably do a lot better against teams that put pressure on the freo mids causing less clean entries and therefore bring mayne in for the tackles. Against melbourne, freo might find it too easy and so forward pressure won't be as important.

Despite the shellacking they gave gws, the giant's pressure around the ground was generally quite good.

I've been monitoring Mayne for awhile now and have had him in SB since round 2
Mayne has been playing up the ground a fair bit he has even taken marks etc in the backline he is not just stuck in the forward line he is getting the ball and tackles around the ground.
Having said that I'd be grabbing NRoo first then worry about pod's later

Nroo is a gun and been consistent all year. I'd grab him over maybe any day of the week.
I have Nroo already and will be trading Bartel to Mayne for a POD though.

It was posted on another thread that NRoo has a pretty ordinary record at the SCG so this week is not a good week to get him in

Mayne should score more this week, but Riewoldt will do better to finish the year. 8)

Im leaning towards getting mayne this week which would move bartel to the bench and then getting nroo next week for his game against gold coast. Just need mayne to outscore nroo this week as im in a big semi final and my opponent has nroo.
