ABC - Ablett, Bartel, Corey

Obviously the 3 clear favourites for any DT'er Premium Midfield.
Opinions?

Questions

(1) If you pick them - do you believe these guys can maintain their averages week in and weeks out so that they justify the $713K, $625K and $586K you spent on them?

(2) If you don't pick them - how long will you have to wait until their prices do drop?...and how much will you miss out in points while you are waiting...especially with GAblett named as Capt.

Personally I don't think either of these players will keep their price early in the year. But if you don't have them you can safely say you are missing out on a certain 100 - 120+ points per game, which many people know can put you leagues behind your opponent. Not to mention one of them being your obvious captain choice

Corey for me
He is the most consistant and barely had a poor game last year, rarely gets tagged and keeps putting in big numbers. Ablett was troubled by a tight tag once or twice esp against Freo and missed a few games through injury. Bartel also had a form drop early in the season which saw his price bottom out. Bartel and ablett are both capable of bigger numbers that Corey so I am looking to trade them when the price is right.

I go along with that. They are all destined to finish in the top 5 points scorers at the end of the season. I prefer to take risks in other areas rather than go against these jets.
