I find it disappointing that you aren't doing anything to hold onto potential young talent, with all the possible players that are leaving, why wouldn't you try and hold onto your current group?

It's too hard to call without insight from the selection squad. Ledger says speed was the only reason that kept him out of gametime, but their could easily be others, such as work ethic and attitude. Melbourne are going an interesting way about it, they clearly suck at picking players in the draft so they are trading picks for players.
Stkilda's young crop is better than Melbourne's.
