Intro
Nails and I, both started FTP at the same time, and have had many great matches over the past. We've both taken different strategies with our squads, however we now have similar rating senior sides, Nails decided to have a full 8 match series, one on each pitch. So i happily agreed, and now we are setting up matches on all 8 pitches, and we are agreeing on the weather. :) As we want a winner, defending champ, we needed some sort of tiebreaker does this series end 4-4, so i decided since Nails leads our H2H, he can be the defending champ, because i'm that confident.

I look forward to this.
I would start something similar, sounds like fun - But my team wouldn't be competitive against many of you guys. :-\

Nails

End of over 1 (4 runs) - The Nailers(4-0). 181 runs required from 49 overs. RR 4.00 RRR 3.69

PB is in trouble. We're doing it easy right now.

Well there you go, how easy was that. :P After my start, was slow, however i felt as if my bowlers could defend 150, so when i passed that and got to 184 i was stoked. Fayyaz Butt has just cemented his spot as number 8 for the rest of the series, very nice knock from him. Solid bowling by William Campbell, the guy that i've been trying to find a replacement for for the last 4 seasons. Look how crap his skills are, wouldn't blame you for saying he's crap. ;D

Will get some stats going in the OP now :)

What do you rate?

Nails

To be honest I expect PB to take the spinner pitches as he has 3 spinners vs. my 2. It seems to make a huge difference. We had like 3 or 4 matches on a dry his team vs. my affiliate (not part of the 8shes) and he won the matches he played 3 spinners but lost the match where he played 2.

But when it comes to seam friendly matches PB better watch out :o

Haven't played a friendly in a while, but 175-180 I'd think.

However i also have 5 seamers on a seamers pitch. ;) And i much prefer the seaming decks. :P I don't even unleash the big fella until the 4th game :D
