Is there anyone else out there like me who has come to the realisation that they won't be taking there league championship this year?

I am in the top 8 of two of my leagues, however, have doubts I will take the league championship due to an injury plagued season and some poor trade decisions which have cost me dearly this year. In light of this, all I can do is learn to make wiser decisions and focus on 2014 although it is quite early to do so.

I just thought I would throw some names round for 2014 and see if others like me have any thoughts on good pick ups for 2014.

I think the hardest thing is starting with the right team and if you get that right then you are in for a great season of supercoach.

Here are just a few names I am thinking about:

J Griffen, Boyd, Sandilands, Currie?, Rioli, Pavlich?, Birchall, Suckling, M Murphy, Beams, Thomas, Ablett a must, fisher?, waters?, priddis? shuey?,   franklin? tippet, Mcbean (hear good things), Joe Daniher, Grimes, Bock, tex walker?, tom Mitchell, sam Colquhoun, kane Mitchell, brad crouch, grundy, wellingham, jack frost, natinui and t nicholls

Ricochet

There was a thread done a week or so ago that had some decent suggestions.
Worth a read anyway

Good idea. I have also started thinking about SC for 2014, i roughly have a group of 30-40 solid players that i am strongly considering.

I am either having Suckling or Birchall in my team and/or Burgoyne. Suckling will drop in price even though he didn't play because of injury i reckon. He might not be that elite prem but could average 90-95. Grundy could defintiely be a strong R2 spot in anyone's SC as Jolly is gone and he is their number 1 ruck probably. Nathan Bock is one iv'e had my eye on. I was going to pick him for this year but he was still injured. averaged 90 in his last proper season. cheap enough, good mid price, could be like roberton who averaged 93 for about 9 rnds. and was only 252k (i did pick him and then offloaded) naitanui might be a good pick as a forward next year(this year too) but him and cox seem to not do aswell together. Rioli is a good pick, will average 90+. Might want to consider Brandon Ellis. He averaged 99.2 this year if you exclude all his sub on and sub off games. BArgain!
