Downgrading Nicholls to a rookie ruck, and upgrading Hrovat to a premo mid, keeping Titch as M9, Kmart M10. Have masically no cash (1.5k), so basically have to trade Nicholls. If I bring in McBean, then I have fwd/ruck dpp with Cox in case one of Maric/Goldy miss a game (which could be likely due to Goldy being tired, and Maric playing with a groin injury or whatever all year) as Grimley is my R4. If I do this, then the best mid I can get is Barlow. However, if I bring in an even cheaper ruck, I can also get Jack or Griffen, but I don't have dpp which could hurt me later on.

My other option is trading Clisby to Oxley in defence, which gives me dpp with Staker, and enables me to trade Tom Mitchell to any mid except Beams. But this means that my bench cover isn't great (no playing mids). Would allow me to get Swan though.

Here's my team if it helps:
Def- Goddard, Gibbs, HepD, Hanley, Duffman, Shaw (Clisby, Wilson)
Mid- Ablett, Pendles, JPK, Lids, Mundy, Jelwood, Watson, Titch (Hrovat, Kmart)
Ruck- Goldy, Maric (Nicholls, Grimley)
Fwd- Walker, Rocky, Cox, Zorko, Rioli, SJ (Staker, Bennedy)

These are going to be my last 2 trades, but necessary as I finished 7th in my main league due to some very unlucky matches, and there's no point in having trades if I get knocked out instantly.

Thanks in advance.

McBean for sure.

Hrovat to Cotch, or Bartel/Dusty if you want more flexibility, which could be handy if you win but have no more trades

Yeh I agree with going with McBean. I would rather have mid bench cover then a Def/Fwd link. With all the late withdrawals lately Titch could end up being a lifesaver.

Yeah, that's what I was leaning to. Doubt there will be much of a difference between Barlow and the other mids anyway, as long as he isn't rested. Cheers guys.

I came on here to argue with your title.

Watt's better! Better than what?

But, Mr Bean is your man.

You've summed it up perfectly.

Pity you can't rely on Grimley to play, otherwise I'd lean away from Mr Bean.

Good luck.

Yeah go with McBean mate.

Its a shame McBean isn't getting games though, his killing it week in week out in the 2s.
