Gotta be Jelwood I reckon.

A last of 98.
A last against Port of 75
Avg against port of 89Having said that, a lot of people are bringing him in this week, and I toyed with doing so...

It's just, out of that list, I'd vote for Jelwood. If you added nearly any other name to the list, I wouldn't be voting Jelwood, but, out of those premos...

The other real option is Jack.
Jack has a higher avg this season.
Jack has a higher last (140)
Jack got 99 v Collingwood last time.

HOWEVER. Jack's highest against COllingwood is only 99 (twice though), his average is dismal (though, affected by a 23 and some old matches... it is dismal).

HOWEVER, when looking at these averages though, Jelwood has > 100 avg over the last five seasons... this is Jack's first season averaging 100+.... so, more weight needs to go to Jack's recent performances.

I can definitely see arguments for Jack... but its way too hard to bench someone who just got 140 and will not get tagged.

Can't use single last performance against teams, otherwise you could say lock in Tom Scully for his 120 last week! Anyway, before that 98 he had 128, 126, 133 and 136! Superstar!

On Port, about 99% of his games against them have been against the shower Port where he wasn't needed (i.e. the GWS affect), but now they're good they'll need him and he'll probably gun it.

Kieren Jack vs Pies, never topped 100 against them I don't think and don't think he'll do it this week.

Also, that 75 he scored against Port earlier this year was when he was subbed out in the 3rd quarter. Was on track for a low ton.

BUT history doesn't really mean much (imo). It'd be hard to bench Jack and Cotchin coming off 137 and 140 respectively. Can't bench Pendles, Barlow or Beams as they're all guns and safe tons.

Griff is also in good form, but can chuck in a few 70s here and there. I'd bench either Cotchin, Jelwood or Griffen personally. Really not sure who though haha.

True, I benched Cotchin last week and it backfired as he was my 2nd highest Mid, but there was no way I would have benched GAJ...

I was originally thinking one of Jelwood, Griffen or Jack and that seems to be where im still at! I could be drawing names out of a hat at this rate ;D

Should have listened to the Jukes :P

Yep...

Had Barlow till about 5 before lockout... He'll probably get subbed out after 5mins now....

Still time for a late out, but with Swan,Pendles,Beams,Jack all set to start shortly looks like my highest scoring player is likely to be on my bench this week...
Not so bad if all the others go 110+ I suppose....
