Will Dixon score well with Nicholls back?

Dixon had a flying start to the year in rounds 1-6, with scores of 130, 123, 77, 103, 142 and 52 (injury game).

Nicholls came on the scene in round 10 and played every week (except rd 13) until 18 whenever was injured.

Dixon came back in rd 18 which was Nicholls injury game, so the 2 haven't played a full game together.

Can Dixon reach his early season scores if Nicholls is in the team?

DoctorRush

Surely Nicholls would have to impact Dixon's scoring due to taking an amount of his limited ruck duties off him.
But i reckon he'll only be 10 points worse off.

When not rucking he'll be forward.

I suspect he'll still see a fair bit of the ball 'resting' forward.

Will be up against...

Melbourne
Port - OK a bit tougher
St Kilda
Giants

Still worth considering for his price.

Zac Smith played the first 6 games with Dixon so it wasn't like Dixon was the No.1 ruckman in those games.

I think Nicholls might spend a greater percentage of game time in the ruck than Smith did but I don't think it will affect Dixon's scoring too much as he should kick some goals in the next few weeks given the opposition pointed out above.

batt

Dixon is BETTER as a ruck support who kicks goal.

Nicholls will boost Dixon's ability to score, no doubt.  Especially with a draw like that.

Hmmmn  wit only two trades left (without an H) and Dixon, Sandi and Pav required, the only thing left for me to do ( have already used phone a friend to no avail ) is  to auction off the coach of The Sabres for 2 trades. If only there was somewhere to hold the auction. But to the question in hand, Dixon will still do well and have you had a look at your opponents team ??

Yes my opponent has me covered, need a POD to score me some points. I could play safe and grab Shaw, but my opponent has him. I need someone who can go big, and I think Dixon v Demons this week is my man
