KEVIN Sheedy has claimed Fremantle won the lottery with the perceived 'soft' nature of the Dockers' fixture this season.

Despite copping a 113-point thumping at the hands of Fremantle on Sunday, the Giants coach nominated Hawthorn as the side to beat for the premiership, saying that Fremantle have not had enough hard games against top-four opponents.

Richmond is the only eventual finalist that the Dockers were scheduled to play twice this season, after 2012 finalists West Coast and Adelaide failed to repeat their strong campaigns.

"It's not their fault, they have probably got the best draw of all time this year - they have won Tattslotto," Sheedy said.

Did Sheedy not see Adelaide's draw last season?

What about the fact that 6 of our first 8 games were against sides in the top 8 last year.  The only harder start to the season was the Hawks

we got out-Sydney'ed ...  :(

the Pies are now genuine flag contenders again with Beamer back (as well as Ball) - just gives them that extra run and X-factor - imagine if Daisy was fit and in form?!?!  :o   

our midfield (and i'm including all those half-fwds Bird, Parker, Bolton & half-backs McVeigh in that!) just couldn't get it going against the Pie pressure!  :(

Yes Macaffer is showing some very good signs.

And as much as I dislike Collingwood they are lethal at full strength.
