Can Nicholls hold R2 down for one round (if named)? Will cheer!

So my team looks like:

Goddard, Heppell, Hartlett, Shaw, McKenzie, Ellis (Gibbs, Clisby)
Swan, GAJ, Pendles, Jelwood, Stanton, Cotchin, Priddis, Murphy (Titchell, Hunter)
Leuenberger, Nicholls (Grundy, Witts)
Martin, Cox, Rockliff, Bartel, JJK, SJ (N. Roo, Staker)
$257,700 in bank

Obviously my midfield needs the most improvement and I'm tempted to do

Stanton/Titchell-->Beams/Griffen (if Priddis gets up, otherwise Priddis/Titchell)

but this leaves my ruck's a bit weak.

I could trade Nicholls or Witts and move Cox back into the rucks but then I have to bring in a forward who I don't need. So I don't like this option.

I could bring in a ruckman for Nicholls/Witts (leaning towards Sandilands - think he's coming back into some good form, and has GWS and Melb next two weeks) but this leaves my mids a bit weaker.

Something like:

Nicholls/Titchell-->Beams/Sandilands (or Beams/Minson)

or

Witts/Titchell-->Griffen/Sandilands

so essentially my dilemma comes down to:

Nicholls+Beams (trade Stanton and Titch) vs Sandilands (or Minson)+Stanton (trade Witts/Nicholls and Titch)

which combo would score more?

I'd greatly appreciate any input  ;)

Surely Sandi and Stanton should put together a higher output?

Stanton's form of late has not been particularly inspiring...80, 89 and then a 73. Beams has the potential to score 130, meaning a potential 50 point differential between Beams and Stanton. Will Sandi score 50 points more than Nicholls?

whilst this is true, thats basically one of beams better days vs one of stantons worse. Stanton on his best day is better than beams on his best, and whilst he is out of form, you'd be crazy to hold nicholls and get rid of stants. Nicholls knee injury could flare up again (he actually injured it in the richmond game, and then re aggravated during the blues match), whereas stants just got his jobe back. Bombers got smashed on the weekend, and I dont think that will happen week in week out

Ok, then. Follow up question: would you rather Griffen or Beams? Sandi or Minson or Kruez?

I'd take Beams.
a) Collingwood look to be hitting form
b) pendles is first tagged
c) Griffen is first tagged

I wouldn't get sandi. He is rather prone to injury, and hasn't had much game time to build form. That being said, you could take that as a positive alongside his great run home. I myself got minson last week, before that I had the minson kreuz debate. What swung me to minson was that he has dees in GF, and Malthjouse has those extra ruckmen at his disposal. But either of those 2 would be a good pick, and if you feel like a gamble then sandi could pay dividends.

Sandi or Minson or Kruez?

that's the question giving me thoughts right now
Sandi looks like getting back to his old form :D
Kreuzer's got past the banana skin of Freo, and has (historically) scored pretty well against his run in sides
Minson's a POD, and has Dees on GF day

i'm leaning toward Sandi, Giles-Gawn/Spencer-Lobbe-McEvoy is a pretty good ruckman run in

for the discussion, can you do Priddis/Witts -> Sandi/Beams
i'd hold Stanton for a week, and potentially sideways him for Jobe next week (or even Titchell->Jobe benching Stanton)

I can do this but it means I'll have to play one of Murphy or Titchell...which is why I'm wondering if Nicholls will get up this week. I had a look on the Suns website and saw this:

http://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/video/2013-08-02/griffith-sports-science-nicholls

which definitely doesn't fill me with confidence, given the "fluid" that is mentioned.

Anyone know if Priddis will get up this week or not?
