3 trades left and have an important elimination final this week in my money league.

A:
Staker to Johnston + Hrovat to Watson

Means I have Tmitch and Duffield as cover in DEF/MID but have to start Nicholls/Johnston in RUC/FOR

B:
Staker to Wellingham + Tmitch to Watson

Have less cover id DEF/MID but much better in FOR/RUC

It basically comes down to whether Nicholls is good enough.

Thoughts?

NEither option changes your rucks so how is option B better for your rucks??

Look at team selections - obviously - then think about the chances of actually needing 'cover'.

I suspect we put too much emphasis on cover and looking at the week just gone, Priddis out just meant T Mitch came on for most teams I saw.

Go for the best 22 on field.

I have MPP in RUC/FOR, so if i get wellingham, i can bench nicholls.

Thanks, thats a good point.

But i find i have at least 2 players out each week, and generally at least one is in DEF/MID.

And atm i have only duffield as cover so i think i have to keep that in mind.

any other thoughts pls?

Does it essentially come down to Nicholls vs Wellingham, in terms of who you're playing on the field?
Maybe send screenshots of your team after the separate trades, I'm having trouble figuring out what's going on  :P

Nichols averaged 99 before his injury, and will probably score more than Wellingham. Option A every day of the week.
