roo boys!

Johnson on 23 at half time, only needs a 236 point second half! We're home

Good game Nigey/ML/Cairo, see you all in 2014. Horrible end to the season for Toronto, everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong in the last 4 weeks. Peaked at the wrong time!

Wow just noticed that the Suns were also having a shocker! If the Suns have a HGA of 40, then I need Devon Smith to outscore Sandilands by 72 points to get the win. Never going to happen though haha!
Sloane scored 180!? Wtf.

Didn't see the game, but reading through m0nty's match updates it looks like Sloane was anywhere and everywhere doing whatever he felt like!

Probably deserves 6 Brownlow votes for it, was everywhere doing everything.  8)

You could say that....  :-\

Honestly you're not entirely out of it CF haha, would be a massive win. Smith up by 31 at half time and Sandi hasn't done anything this quarter + some calf worries. Currently beating him by 50 DT with a while to go in the 3rd term

AFEV

I think Maca is going to end up winning on HGA here. Unlucky CF.

47 vs 70 at 3 qtr time, looks like it. SC ratios not nice to CF here, Sandi lower DT than SC, the reverse for Smith

CrowsFan

It's going to be heartbreak isn't it!

3QT scores has the match looking like this..

Suns - 1,344 (HGA of 40, Sandi currently 47)
Pumas - 1,296 (Smith currently 70)

Would need a massive last quarter by Smith and Sandi to be subbed off to win.

CrowsFan

Congrats maca, was a lot closer than expected in the end!

Shame that an Armadillos vs Sands final isn't possible, they seem to be the form teams!

Pumas Final

Hartlett 80, Houli 96, Roberton 74, Harwood 62
Ablett (C) 134, Sloane 180, Masten 89, Duncan 4
Minson 120
Walker 83, Roughead 113, Gunston 73, Wright 41
Smith 84, Wallis 77

Total - 1,310

Went down by 50 points, even having Jacobs come on for Hill rather than Smith would have seen me go down by just 1 point! A shame, but hopefully can bounce back next week...

In a match from hell for the Pumas - where everything went wrong including early injuries (Duncan), late withdrawals (Hill) and his Captain's lowest score of the year (Ablett) - this final went down to the wire after the heroics of Rory Sloane. Sloane took out a Finals Champions medal for his efforts, and the Suns best included Goddard, Riewoldt, Sidebottom and Ebert.
Well done to the Suns! Who head to the Preliminary Final....

Mexico City Suns (20.16.136) defeated Sao Paulo Pumas (20.11.131)

Best
Mexico City: B Goddard, N Riewoldt, S Sidebottom, Brad Ebert
Sao Paulo: R Sloane, W Minson, Jarryd Roughead

Late Changes

RORY SLOANE wins a FINALS CHAMPION Medal
MEXICO CITY qualify for PRELIMINARY FINAL
SAO PAULO qualify for SEMI FINAL

If I had a decent forward line this week, who knows?

Just keep it up next week, and I may be able to fluke through another game!

Oh, and well done boys!

Buenos Aires win a thriller, only just winning without HGA, with Captain Dane Swan best on ground and winning the Finals Champion medal!

Well done to Moscow's Sexton debuting in a final! His performance wasn't that good though :P
