Pendles or Beams for captain?

Purely on gut-feeling only,  Pendlebury.  I've got Pendlebury, Swan and Griffin to choose from, and they all have top scores v their opponents of around the 170 mark. Very tempted to take Griffin on the dry paddock at Etihad.

I like Beams as a POD, Colli.
He shouldn't get tagged, while Hocking will go to Pendles and he hasn't been too good the last few weeks, so Pendles could bounce back. Really tough but I like Beams as a POD.

Throw Swan in and it makes for a difficult decision. Pendles for mine, I think why Beams has a little appeal is that he is new to teams and hasn't had the chance to disappoint. Him being a POD is enough without the added risk of doubling any liability.

The VC is the place to take a risk, the C is the place to go with the percentages.

i got swan too and i think Beams averaged more so far and more last season than pendles :)

I do think Griff will do well v Swans but have gone the safe (?) way to Pendlebury.  If I get within 120 of a win I retain top spot in my main league, have 2 trades left this week but not using them.    ;)

Throw Griffen in too! Pendles just out averaged Beams last year 124 to 123 but Beams last half was much better than his first half. No doubting Beams is a potential superstar, Pendles is a proven one though. Good luck against Holz.

Without any rhyme, reason or logic my gut said Griffin and I just put the big "C" beside his name with a minute to spare. Whatever the outcome I'll have no rants or raves, of course unless everything goes horribly wrong. Just kiddin' on the rant/rave bit. Best of luck to all of us.    :)

Lowest v Swans is 56 but highest is 170  and I've taken the risk with nothing to lose. Will finish 1, 1, and 3rd in my main leagues even if I give walk overs for rd. 19.  But my gut still says Griff and right or wrong it's too late now. All the very best of luck CW, and go Tiges.   ;)
