Take Clisbys 101 Or play Heath Shaw

I Have a very close game this week. The only defender i have left is Shaw. Last time against Essendon he had 130. Do I take the risk on Shaw or Use the EME loophole and take Clisbys 101

I'd take the 101, a lot safer and points in the bank are gold. Rules out the chance of any early injuries etc

You buy premiums to score tons, and he has a ton waiting in the bank. That's gold especially in defence. In the midfield I wouldn't bench a Swan or Pendles to get 101 obviously but in defence I'm happy if all my players score 90+.

Play Shaw. His average is 102. 130 ANZAC day. If he has an average game will score 85-100. Good game 130+
If it was any other defender, maybe except Goddard, I'd say take Clisby's score.

Depends on your league situation.

If Shaw gets 125 and you take Clisby's 100. Will the 25 odd points make you lose. Same way if he spuds.

If you have the game no matter what Shaw scores, just play him.
