They played 24 games between them but I suppose Alex Johnson would be ahead of him?
Waaaaay ahead of him. Shaw was injured for most of the season too. I think Towers could possibly play off of HB as well, and Lockyer is still looking for a chance.

He's a delisted free agent Nige, reality is that he probably had close to 0 options

The Teddy Richards replacement?

Also surprised you guys didn't upgrade Naismith, must be confident in the big Canadian!  8) do you think you'll draft one?

We also have a new big American rookie coming in this year.

If you believe like one of the guys from BF Swans may look to draft Lobb, and may even consider Seaby, but I dont see that one

Fun Fact of the Day: Alex Johnson averages more marks per game than Kurt Tippett

I'm almost certain that there were several clubs interested in her services... many of which I'm sure would include him in their best 22. He's played 26 games in 5 seasons through lack of opportunity hence his request to leave and seek greater opportunities and a chance at playing senior football.

After hearing what he said on Trade Radio, he was definitely keen on going anywhere provided he got to play games in defense for his new club. I sincerely hope he proves you all wrong.

Maybe the other clubs lost interest? Looks a long way down the pecking order at Swans anyway

It's hard to believe that could be the case... But eh, whatever.  :P

When you don't work out at 2 separate clubs others begin to lose interest.

He could easily just be the same as Jordan Russell's trip to Collingwood

I'm hoping he has some Darren Jolly like success.

Ricochet

Jolly went there with a role for him though

Mailman the 2nd

Darren Jolly got traded for pick 15 and was immediately needed as the No.1 ruck from Jason Ball.

I'm not doubting that Laidler will play a few games, but he isn't really close in the best 22

You guys are being too analytical of my statement.  :P

Do I have to call it Mitch Morton like success instead?

So he comes in for the winning finals series and plays off the bench??
