Think you should send JPK back to the Hawks. He is getting lost in your midfield depth :P

If you had anyone of value to trade back they might!  8)

Former #2 draft pick Xavier Ellis? :P
Hilarious :p

Dont need buddy we have White

Maybe Birchall and Suckling before they were injured for JPK

But JPK doesnt like the hype of AFL in Melbourne. He is home in Sydney

interesting to hear what DB had to say about Mummy on the footy show. Wants more than the Swans are offering, and Hawks are interested.

Love the big man, but reckon we should use his currency. Isacc Smith would be nice!

So things have taken another turn after the weekend.

Mattner and Morton have announced their retirement and Jude is set to announce his retirement today.

Rhyce Shaw is also a concern after doing his ACL on the weekend and at the age of 32 in October, the question wil be asked if this is his last year.

Goodes and LRT are also concerns as they are only now starting to hopefuly return to training this week!!

My outlook
White will sign with the Swans after a solid year
McVeigh will be upgraded to a vet with the retirement of Jude.
Mummy will sign with the Giants after knocking back the Swans offer
LRT, ROK and Goodes will play one more year and retire after the 2014 season

Shaw gone too? Though the report said he was looking to next year already.
Not sure LRT will make next year.
I think (hope) Goodes has still got 2 or 3 in him.

So does that mean that we don't have to do any delistings now?

Anyone else get the feeling Cunners spot on the list is looking shaky?

Struggled on the weekend IMO but on a good note, I think Mummy just got himself another contract. That wwas the best game he has played this year.

SydneyRox

Were we not going to offer him one?

He has been building all year. Mummy/Pyke is a real bonus for us come finals!

Just to update this thread as well.

Now there have been 3 retirements with Bolton, Mattner and Morton retiring. Andres seems to be the Mr Fix it in the backline atm, so i cant see him leaving.

Cunners has struggled since coming back from his knee injury and Armstrong can not break in to the 1s after having numerous chances

from what i have heard we offered him a 2yr and he wanted at least a 3yr. he should get it now

SydneyRox

Wow. Cant see why we wouldn't have given him 3yrs! But certainly need to make sure he stays.

regarding Mummy

News im hearing is that he is holding off till the end of the season but will take a shorter contract.

So he could take the 2 yr contract that has been offered to him by the Swans. Bit imo he will be playing the games of his life in coming weeks to extend that contract further
