I am agreeing with some of the talk on AFL radio.

Swans seem to be a little disadvantaged the longer the Buddy deal takes to sort.

Hawks can drag out 72 hours the choice to decline matching the offer. So it could be Friday before the Swans know what the hell is going on...

yeah, best case scenario. AFL approves tomorrow arvo. Hawks have 72 hours to match.

We can do anything with trades or stuff until this one is signed off.

Worse case scenario, AFL rejects or forces alteration to contract which hawthorn then decide (after 72hours) to match.

Then Swans need to arrange a trade after losing their #1 bargaining chip in Mummy.
