Mailman the 2nd

I mean giving him a couple of games is the only way to judge what level he's at

Noz

When Mummy leaves Swans will only have 2 rucks Pyke at 30 next year and Naismith who still hasn't played a game.

Who comes in?

Swans will have a plan. Port have way too many, not to mention some of the GWS guys who will struggle to get a game when Smith is back next year

Decided to waste a couple more years of his career at North.

The problem with Currie is that he was always injured when we needed him, hence why Pyke got a chance. And even now his first year at North he was injured

The main issue I have in this deal (not COLA) is that over the next 5 years with Tippett and Franklin several key players are going to take pay cuts. Obviously its been smartly lined up so that when Goodes, Shaw LRT ROK etc. hit retirement the impact might be minimised slightly.

With Jack and Hanneberry getting better every year, who's to say 800k won't convince them to go home? or even towards a million, they're getting better than Goddard was.

I'm expecting us to lose at least another high quality player in the next 2 years outside of Mumford/Reid

Jack has signed till 2015 and Hanners 2016. Goodes may just have 1 or 2 more years depending on his knee and then there are others like LRT, McVeigh, Teddles Pyke, Shaw all around 30 yo. How much longer will these guys be around?? Then you have got Titch and Parker who will be chased and offered better deals to leave Sydney

That is a concern over the next few years, I think you need to back your club/culture to keep the majority of the players together chasing flags just like Geelong managed to do with the majority of their list.
