trade maric to leuey?

maric has been a massive let down from round 4 onwards. with his ongoing groin issues and now stephenson in (even though it is probably just for the one week) is it worth offloading maric for leuenberger? can't afford kreuz or goldy, and i can see leuey smashing out some good scores in the run home.

2 trades, 47k left with this team:

goddard heppell gibbs shaw hanley ibbotson (staker, clisby)
ablett pendles swan selwod danger barlow jack jpk (mitchell, atkins)
minson, maric (nicholls, moller)
stevie j, cox, rocky, dusty, walker, buddy (rioli, oxley)

got solid cover across the board which is why i wouldnt mind being down to 1 trade. can see maric averaging 90 from here on and leuey maybe 105-110.

what does everyone think? Thanks in advance!

Very good team mate ! I am the same as you trying to get as high as I can overall. Hoping for top 1000 and currently 1980.. I am also considering this trade cause of Leuys run home, my other option is roughy !

With the team you have and if you don't care about leagues and are trying to get a high overall finish I would do it.

Leuy will definitely average more than Maric in the run home and as you say you have good cover on all lines.

Wish I had a team like yours  :(

if stephenson manages to stay in the side for the rest of the year I can't see maric even maintaining his 93 point average

i'd probably go with leuey. can see the hawks managing a few players before finals, but in any case i think they'll average something similar when they both play. good luck with your top 1000 pursuit!
