I know adding Beams to a midfield with Swan or Pendles is fine but I also have Shaw in the backline. Would that be one too many players from the same side? Or will I see all four scoring over 100+ every week?

Vinny

I reckon it's perfectly fine. Pendles Swan and Beams have been a lethal combination for over a year now and rarely to do all have shockers. Shaw is also one of the best defenders in the SC competition despite his occasional stupid choices ::)

MC

All of them are top scorers in their positions when fit. They all averaged 100+ last year in the same side, why not again now?

Swoozie

I think they score better with all 3 of them in the midfield because they all just feed each other.

Blues Blues Blues

I wouldn't be worried mate, they are all great players.

Ill have all three soon mate, so I don't think it's a worry.. I'm not worried.

Go for it!

No doubt in high scores from Pendles, Swan and Beams in one side but its having a fourth in Shaw that I'm worried about. Is there a better chance of Pendles, Swan, Shaw and Griffen all scoring above +120 than Pendles, Swan, Shaw and Beams in a week?

MC

Beams is back to his best, and managed an average of what, 120 last year? Griffen has been very consistent and an excellent player this year, but I wouldn't discount Beams as a POD just because of his team. There are plenty of points to go around, and more likely that a lesser contributer will suffer a points drop than one of the guns.

_wato

Well to make it any better I have Shaw aswell.. It's the same old story that many teams would be facing.

Look at it this way;
Essendon- Goddard, Watson, Heppell, Hibberd
Brisbane- Rockliff, Hanley, Leuenberger, Staker
Sydney- JPK, Jack, T Mitch, Malceski
Richmond- Cotch, Dusty, Deledio, Maric (Certainly in past years).

No need to worry mate. Do what you think is best.

Thanks for the opinions. I guess it's because I haven't gone down the path of having four premos from the one side. Usually I stick to three. Although right now I have Hanley, Rocky, Berger with Staker and Zorko on the bench lol
