Had a look at my opponents team this week and his midfield looks finished already, was thinking of getting Beams for Ball this week as a POD what do you think

and Bartel in the mids?!

Wasn't aware that ball was injured, but ball is a much better mid option than bartel.
I would do Bartel for Beams or look at moving bartel forward and trading a forward to beams if cash allows.

Definitely get Beams in now if you have no other pressing issues in your team. Thought he might start off a bit slowly after his long layoff, however he already has an achievable BE this week.

Ball will be back this week and Beams and Pendles may cop the tag. Ball will get loads of points from hard ball gets. Not the week to bring Beams in IMO.

Downgrade Roo to a cheap mid/fwd. Get Jimmy into your fwds then upgrade ball to Beams

You can do what Sydneyrox says or the other option is to work Roughy into your rucks and get bartel fwd, then trade a ruck for Beamer.

I've got the same forward 6 as you :) Ball could be back, but Riewoldt carrying an injury. Selling Riewoldt (before his price plummets too) and swap the out-of-form Bartel into the forward line might be the best way for you to bring in a mid premo this week. Can easily go Bartel -> Riewoldt if it was the wrong move but I doubt you'll end up wanting Riewoldt back. I'm absolutely sure he's cooked but then again I would say that not having him all season  ::)

In terms of the Beams question, tough one. I got him in last week and while I'm not complaining I do wish I brought in Jelwood last week as now I can't afford him :( I see you've already got Jelwood so for you it's definitely Beams time this week. Only a 114 breakeven and surely would be at peak time-on-ground now. A must have.

Yeah, I never really looked at your fwd line. Doesnt make sense to have Bartel or JJK on the pine

If you are happy with your Ruck line and want to leave Roughy in the mids. I would think about doing a double upgrade in your mids. Ball - Beams, Bartel to S.Selwood, if you dont have the cash this week then downgrade Roo this week so you have the $$ next week.
