'Before interview went to air on Channel Seven at 8.45pm, the network's news service reported that one of Robinson's revelations was that Zaharakis was the only player not to participate.'

so, zaha's the only player in the clear :P

Two very good articles:

This states the basics of the interview

A brilliant commentary, simply looking at what's been said.

From what I've heard, the commentary afterwards on Ch 7 was awful, but then the Ch7 can never be described as good :p

Ringo

Goddard, Zaha  and Rookies to compete in Essendons finals team along with any others not found guilty maybe,

But I suspect any penalties invoked will be immediately challenged in the courts given the blurred lines between ASADA and WADA which I believe is central to the investigation.

Agree. Thats the problem with the fact the AFL werent hard enough.

We could end up with a situation where they play finals and then in Oct get banned for cheating in the courts.

Normally I would agree Ringo, but while they never said it. I got the impression they have held off until they were desperate for the money before doing the interview. Robinson is having to sell his house to pay for legal fees etc.

Whatever the case, the Bombers have done the wrong thing and hung him out to dry. Cant tell me Hird didnt know about all the stuff Dank and Robinson were doing, but Hird is still coaching.

AFL should have made the hard call and suspended people when they found out about the investigations. If that meant the bombers didnt field a team this year then so be it.

The other thing is that I remember hearing last night and today is that whatever was mentioned in the interview last night, also matches up with what The Weapon said in the transcript of his testimony to ASADA. I am not sure how they apparently got the transcript to check it since the interviews and findings are supposed to be confidential until the release of the findings

Spike also said their was one more that refused to get injected because they hated needles. He said he knew who it was but wouldn't name them

nah, if they're all banned by finals essendon will probably be stripped of premiership points this year anyway.

I don't even care what the sanctions are at this point. I just want this whole saga to end, I'm so sick of it. I'm sick of hearing about it in the media, sick of being asked what I think of it all, sick all of it.

Either way I must say I am beginning to lose faith in the game. Feeling rather disenchanted. Hopefully that feeling passes once the investigation does.

I watched it and I believe most things he said. Seemed pretty legit to me.

Actually agree with him about there being a "Hird Cult."

If he wasn't a club legend, would he still be there....?

Of course not.
If he hadn't been sacked by this point, he probably would have resigned as the other top dogs at the club have.

He feels a responsibility to see this out though.

Feel the same way mate but unfortunately even once we have served our penalty we will still be hearing about it

Yeah, Eagles fans still get it hung on them for things that happened over 20 years ago. At least that will just be a sledge though, as opposed to what's going on now.
