I really dont get the right feeling coming from McVeigh on this. Robinsons story seemed pretty believable to me

Spike just seems to be towing club line which smells a little funny to me

Ricochet

I bloody missed it. Can anyone fill me in?

SydneyRox

asked some hard questions.

Robinson got marched without explanation while Hird stays on. He was very dirty on the club and particularly Hird.

Said Hird was pushing the limits as far, but still thinks they did nothing wrong. Said Hird defn took banned substances. Said Hird had knowledge the pies used HGH.

Sounded very believable to me. Little dissappointed with the panel chat after, esp McVeigh. They all seem pro Hird, and nit impartial in the reporting.

Ricochet

Thanks mate. Who was on the panel?

i thought what most of he said seemed believable to and when he was upset whilst talking his body language was doing the same thing to being upset so most of the times he would be telling the truth

but i mean he is a very disgruntled ex employee so really have to take what he says with a grain of salt

Breaking his silence in a paid interview with the Seven Network, Essendon's former high performance manager said he had been made a scapegoat.

"The only thing that pulled me up was seeing my little girl, looking at her.

"I'd chosen the knife, I knew how I was going to do it. The only thing that stopped me was my little girl. That's how close I was.

silloc

The weapon? more like The girls-dick

Ringo

Did not see the interview as it was aired at 11.00pm in Qld so will be viewing later when I can with Iview,

Personally from previous experience I do not put a lot of faith in a paid interview as more than not you need to have something sensational to divulge and in most cases this has proved to bending the truth a little for the sensationalism.

Looking at the whole saga I honestly believe we will never get the whole truth in this instance due to the various complexities, conflicting advices etc involved.

From exerts I have seen of the interview it is obvious that is from a man under extreme pressure and we know what that can do. Interesting comment though on Pies and Hawks being Biologocal superior.

SydneyRox

Normally I would agree Ringo, but while they never said it. I got the impression they have held off until they were desperate for the money before doing the interview. Robinson is having to sell his house to pay for legal fees etc.

Whatever the case, the Bombers have done the wrong thing and hung him out to dry. Cant tell me Hird didnt know about all the stuff Dank and Robinson were doing, but Hird is still coaching.

AFL should have made the hard call and suspended people when they found out about the investigations. If that meant the bombers didnt field a team this year then so be it.
