What are your thoughts on both Gold Coast Guys being played in the Backline?
Is there a better option...

My current Backline is
Goddard, Gibbs, Hibberd, Mackenzie, Staker, Hanley (Goodes, Webster)
3trades & $44,000

Blues Blues Blues

I'd only get 1 at this stage, hold onto Hanly as he may be back.

Sabretooth Tigers

 ???
I'd double wait, firstly to see what is happening with Nicholls and then Hanley.
Totally agree with 3xB in only going with one. I'd go with Dixon if the news on
Nicholls wasn't encouraging, otherwise it would be the Cannon Best of luck. ;)

Dixon had 1 good game after missing how many? and who knows when he will go down with another injury.

Take out his injured games and is averaging 111! Has the best draw for finals and at just 420k! Only dropped under 100 once when fit! Easily worth the risk IMO.

Surely he can last the rest of the season

You're a braver man than me

As I said in another post Teams are starting to work out the Canon and forcing him to kick on his non preferred side so this may be a pattern for the rest of the year. With Dixon he came back and re-injured himself so there is that risk as well  So basically you need to decide which is the less risk.

That's actually a positive reason to get him.

Continuing on with his good form after coming back from injury

The positive for the Cannon is that (similar to A Walker) he doesn't need to have a mountain of touches to score well.

Last week he was playing key defense on Henderson at times, only had 16 possessions and 2 marks, yet still scored a ton. Also he was only playing key defense last week whilst Rory Thompson was out.

Having said that I had Dixon at the start of the year before he was injured and he plays a SC friendly role. The first time they rushed him back from his ankle injury and he re-injured it. He was out for a while the second time so he should be over that particular injury now.
