To play Bartel or Leuenberger!?

Howdy

Originally, I have gone:
McVeigh to Beams
J O'Meara (m9) to Rockliff.

Moved Bartel (Fwd) to (M9).

So, JOM is gone, Bartel is M9, Burger is R2

Now, I'm thinking:
McVeigh to Beams
Leuenberger out, sub Cox to Ruck from Fwd, Rockliff in...

So, Burger is gone, JOM is M9, Cox is R1.

Thoughts?

I wouldnt be trading out the berger. He will probably be the 3rd highest scoring ruck to season's end.
Also, I would much rather have JOM than bartel at M9. More consitent and seems like less of a waste even though they're similar price. If you arent planning to field bartel, i suggest you trade him instead.

I do hear you... but:
Bartel is more likely to make me want to play him (being a premo and all).
Bartel is cheaper, so having JOM on the bench would cost more
Bartel gives me a Mid/Fwd DPP link, which could be handy since I have Stevie J, Rockliff, Martin in my Fwd line. If one of them doesn't play, I'd rather play Bartel than Staker (F7).

I have Cox and Kruezer... do you think these will be the two highest scoring? If so, isn't getting rid of third highest ruck a good idea? - Keeping in mind that Cox is not top 7 Fwds, so should be in R1.

another option is to go Bartel --> Beams cos i think he's got a fairly hefty BE this wk and his two previous scores were around 60s ...

if McVeighs BE is better then that should lean you towards that??

with DT YOLO trading you can always get Bartel back in a bit cheaper eg McVeigh --> Bartel pre-rd20??

Bartel is in my Fwd line, so can't just straight swap to Beams unfo.

I think I am improving my team by playing Beams over McVeigh (+20 points) and Rockliff over Burger (+15 points).

Playing Rockliff over Burger was the right call.

JOM didn't bust out a great score, but he is my M9... hopefully TMitch and Beams bust out great scores, then I'll be golden.

In hindsight, would have got more points from playing Burger over Kreuzer, but still happy with bringing in Rockliff and having JOM as M9.
