Yeah i'm not up to date with it, are you saying in Oz that summer, we get only four test matches?

If so, who do I kill and how slowly should I do it?

flower you t20 you aren't even cricket! Can't believe Test cricket would suffer at all, who the frog responsible for this in Oz?
Yes that summer we only get 4 test matches. I don't understand why we couldn't have another team, even a lesser team like NZ or WI come over and play a 2 match series before we face India, seeing as the World Cup doesn't start till mid February.

Actually, this is the perfect time to please South Africa, and play the Boxing Day match over there, something they've been wanting to do for a very long time, but Australia always wanting Boxing Day at home, has never allowed us to play 5 test series against the best country in the world.
lol. I assume you've never been?

Why don't we just stop the Ashes while we're at it  ::) :P

Nice to see Hobart get a game with Australia in it, albeit against a qualifier so going to be a one sided game! The other Hobart games are Sri Lanka vs a Qualifier, and the big game... Zimbabwe vs Ireland! :P

I don't think you understand where i am coming from. I never said Boxing Day in Melboourne wasn't great, nor did i say we should stop it permanently....

What i said was that ther's been an ongoing debate between RSA and Aus about trying to get a 5-test series going, but neither team will commit to that because it means that they have to give up a home Boxing Day test match.

So before you go and be all green and gold bogan on me, actually read what i say. :) As if you had looked at cricket things outside of Australian international matches, you would notice that this has been an issue. :)

Understood what you were saying, however we were saying that South Africa can compromise and come here and play the boxing day test at the G.

Yeah but they also want to host it, that's why there's a problem :( Having no cricket in Aus over the christmas break would be hell weird though. :-\

Either way, doesn't matter now as India are coming here just to get beaten 4-0 again.

I understood everything perfectly, and I still stick by what I said. If RSA don't want to play at the G on Boxing Day then tough luck.

Without looking it up, I'd assume that Boxing Day gets the best crowds out of any day from any test, then you add the tradition factor. That's why I questioned if you've ever been.

So before you go and be all condescending on me, actually read what i say. :) As if you had looked at cricket things outside of things of what you think you know/Adelaide, you would notice that this has been an issue. :)

If you had worded your first post something like that, then i probably wouldn't have had a problem.

And i did read what you said, it said: "lol. I assume you have never been?" And you followed it up with a sarcastic comment, indicating to me that the first sentence was also a comment of some malice, or least something that had no intention to be productive and instead try to put me down in some way??

So what i say to your first comment though is: Why can't the South Africans say the same thing about us, as we want the 5 test series as much as they do?

Wasn't putting you down... And for the third time; I assume you have never been?

And SA do say the same thing. And that's why we don't play 5 game series with them.

tbagrocks

Suddenly our PDI team looks like a team again, unbeatable? Well, tbag says, the others are chasing us now!

This new line up is brilliant, good luck beating our ODI team again!
