Pretty simple, I wanna bring in both Boyd and Roughy over the next two weeks, but unsure on who to bring in first...

At first I was thinking to wait until next week on Boyd as he has a 150 B/E and is playing Sydney, and Titchell's B/E is around 80 and he's been killing it (ie not as much gain points wise). But then I thought about the potential carnage that could happen next week with injuries/suspensions, which might prevent me from getting in Boyd (who I'm really really keen on, would much rather him over Roughy).

So basically, these are my two trading plans.

Option 1                                                                      Option 2

This Week:                                                                  This Week:

T. Nicholls --> B. Grundy                                                S. Rowe --> L. McBean (maintain DPP link)
T. Mitchell --> M. Boyd                                                   T. Nicholls --> J. Roughead (sending McEvoy to bench)

Next Week:                                                                 Next Week:

S. Rowe --> L. McBean                                                  D. Gorringe --> B. Grundy
D. Gorringe --> J. Roughead                                           T. Mitchell --> M. Boyd

Team picture is here. :)

Money

I like option one best, getting in the cash which you then no longer have to worry about if you have to change your plans and Boyd is Boyd so you may as well bring him in first

I'd say Boyd is more a "must" for you if you're so set on him. As you say, things can change next week, and Roughead might not necessarily be the best option by then. I always prefer to go with the player I really want if I have a chance to bring them in, leaves you more flexibility next week.

By the way if it's for a R2 position why Roughy and not Kreuzer?

Well, McEvoy is my current R2, so getting in Roughy would send him to the bench, and because of Roughy's DPP I can effectively use McEvoy as cover for the forward line.

If I got Kruez, McEvoy would only be able to cover him and Cox, which isn't very useful. That's why I need Roughy's DPP link. :P

Alka

You would have Rowe/McBean and Cox though, meaning you can swing Cox into forwards and play Kruez and McEvoy in rucks if any forward goes down. So it's effectively the same.

shower, that's true. Never thought about that haha. :P

So it's pretty much Boyd + McEvoy v Roughy + Mitchell. I think they will probably score fairly similarly although I think option one has the highest ceiling and more potential and I think Boydy is the bigger 'must have' so as like u said if any carnage happens over the weekend id rather have Boyd.

Yeah, exactly. Think I'd rather play it safe and lock in Boyd while I can.

The only thing that got me thinking was that Boyd has a 150 B/E and Titch has an 80 B/E... Boyd should drop 20k and Titch should gain around 10 = 30k gain. But points > money at this stage.

The only problem now is who to trade out of Murphy and T. Mitchell for Boydy. :-\

Hagebear

It depends how much u need the extra 30k. I'd keep Murphy. Proven gun and Carlton has a pretty good draw. Where as Sydney has a pretty tough run home. Carlton have Freo, WB, Rich, Ess and Port. While Sydney has WB, Coll, St K, Geel, Haw.
