aces-high

Purely trying to finish as high as i can. Ranked 577 with 3 trades left. Have adequate cover on all lines.

Team is
def God, Gibbs, Ibbo, Hartlett, Heppell, Cannon emer Clisby, Hanley
mids Gaz, Pendles, Danger, Cotch, Barlow, Swan, PRIDDIS, LIDS emer T Mitch, Crouch
rucks Will, Cox bench Nicholls, Ceglar
forwards Dusty, Rough, Bartel, Rocky, JKennedy, Stevie J bench Staker, McBean.

Plan is to either oust Nicholls to Grundy to free up  300k or Crouch to Atkins (fwd dpp) for 300k. Btw who would you get rid of to free up the cash also? haha
Final trades will then be Staker to Andrew Walker leaving 200k to get rid of 1 of the abover customers to either Griffen or Beams.

What would you guys do? I trust and love all your feedback so any comments will be greatly appreciated! :)

Deledio. and dont look back.
On that note. I picked up Deledio for round 13 after his bye. I 'was' ranked around 700th.
Lets just say I'm no longer ranked around 700th!!
Not the only reason, but sure didn't help.
So that 'season ruiner' would get my vote too.

Deledio has a good run home, he will probably do well against Hawthorn given they don't usually put on a hard tag.

I been telling my self that since rd 13 when I picked him up after a 131 and a 141. Since then he has had 91 82 107 64 75. averaging about 80 and lost 120k No where near good enough for finals and I dont think he will pick up. Every team tags him now.

From the looks of your team, one of these players will be traded for Griff or Beams and one of the others will become your M9...

Based on that, I would take a high risk/high reward option and trade T.Mitch. I'm sure that will be an unpopular choice, but hear me out. Priddis I think has to stay, he's been getting scaled down which is frustrating but you can guarantee a 90+ score from him. Mr Consistent, you know what you're getting. So the choice is T.Mitch or Lids, one to trade and one to bench. T.Mitch must be this year's Zorko, the rookie who's going to have a 100+ average by the end of the season. But I don't see him racking up a huge score given the talent in the Swans midfield - with McVeigh, Jack, ROK and JPK all in the mix stealing points of each other, it's unlikely you will see a 140 from him. Lids on the other hand has had a poor run of form but has the potential to pull out a massive score. So if you're not counting on him to be in your final field team, keep him and have the potential for a 140 point loophole score... Get Atkins for Crouch to enable your loophole and DPP cover. Slightly riskier if you get an injury but even then with M/F DPP cover you'd have your choice of Staker or Lids to cover it, Staker has been going pretty well too...

Depends how safe you want to play it!

The Bomber

Deledio's finals run is amazing. Don't write him off just yet, only reason I'm still holding him. Cotchin is in better form atm so the hard tag will hopefully go to him in the next couple of games.

I like the loophole idea, wouldn't have though of it myself! Potential-wise, best chance to go high, but best chance to go low (which doesn't matter on your bench! If a Mid goes down injured, hey, Deledio is still better cover than what most teams have on their bench in Hrovat/etc.)...
**I'd do a bit of forward planning to see who you can loophole Deledio with over the next 5 rounds though, I dont know when their games are
