Masten at least two weeks with ankle. LeCras at least two with foot and Nic Naitanui indefinitely out. @WestCoastEagles injury update. #2014
3:31pm - 29 Jul 13

Might as well say he is done for the year

Vinny

Yeah I think Naitanui is done for the year and would prefer if he went in for surgery now and prepared for next year. If he is fit and firing in the pre-season, he will be a lock for most. Injuries have hurt many this year. Anyone reckon he may just play the home games and not travel?

Yeah that's true. If they got up against the Bulldogs - would be a different situation.

No surprise if he is gone for the season

Holz

I dont like the cheer for injuries and i hope nic nat the best, but rest up buddy and come back big next year.

Quite a few of the top guys have him and are super low on trades/ no trades.

Vinny

Just to be clear, I didn't mean that I hope Naitanui is out for SC reasons only. :)

I really do hope his fit and firing for 2014.

Judd Magic

Really?  ::)

Herald Sun today said he's available to play this week.

From the Herald Suns Barometer

"ON THE CUSP: There was some good news for the Eagles in the WAFL with youngster Brad Sheppard and tagger Adam Selwood coming through unscathed and in form. Sheppard gathered 30 touches for East Fremantle while Selwood had 26 possessions for East Perth. Meanwhile, Darren Glass and Nic Naitanui missed the Dogs clash with "soreness" and should return."

roo boys!

I'd trust WCE themselves more than HS haha, but yeah that would be a bit of a bummer for those who've got him for them to be reporting stuff like that.

pikla

Hmmm... seems Nic Nat is done for the year.

What's everyone doing?

Ive got Nicholls, should I downgrade Nic Nat to generate some cash and play Maric and Nicholls during finals or should I upgrade Nic Nat to a prem and keep Nicholls/Maric on the bench as backup?

I think if you have Maric and Nicholls as your starting 2 rucks (as I do) you need to get one of Kreuz, Goldy or Minson in there to boost your stocks.

From afl.com.au In The Mix:

Nic Naitanui is now listed as indefinite on the club's injury list and it would be unlikely he will return this year
