Reilly seems to be put up for trade every year but never goes. I think D-Mac is a strong chance to go. I think he's a lot better then what he's showed at Adelaide. Think he could prosper elsewhere.

Reilly has been great for the club, also the most games for a non SA lad but, Smith and Laird now play his role well and the club wants a high draft pick!

we have a good crop of young players... we are still a very young team

Guys like Sam Kerridge, Rory Laird, Brad Crouch, Kyle Hartigan and Mitch Grigg are all very talented and have been taken in recent drafts, while guys like Josh Jenkins, Lewis Johnston, Tom Lynch, Brodie Smith and Jared Petrenko are yet to hit their full potential

Cam Ellis-Yolmen is starting to get a bit better for the Eagles, he could be a player, just taking a bit longer to develop than others but he has potential so I hope he doesn't get delisted

I'd like to see Petrenko go to midfield, that could be where he shines, but who knows...


Brodie Martin and Matty Jaensch consistently kill it in the SANFL, but cannot seem to make the most of their chances in the AFL, would not like to see them get cut but at the same time it would not surprise me if one of them got delisted, but I think if Ian Callinan can't be traded then he could get the chop at Adelaide

Sanderson all but guaranteed the future of forward Jason Porplyzia who was dropped last weekend for the Showdown after playing 16 games this season.

He managed 21 disposals and kicked a goal for West Adelaide in wet conditions.

The un-contracted 28-year-old qualifies for free agency at the end of the season but Sanderson was confident he'd remain a Crow.

"He is out of contract, but I'm almost certain he's going to be playing for us next year," he said.

"When Porplyzia was at his best in 2009 when he's kicking the big bags of goals, that's when there was a full forward and a specialist forward pocket.

"He was a really difficult match up, coaching against Adelaide at the time for Geelong [where Sanderson was an assistant coach], we didn't have anyone to match-up on him.                                                     

"But there's a lot more density now, forwards are now leading back to goal
