143 breakeven with 3 poor games behind him, playing North who don't give up DT points easily... I've got dual position linkup with my midfield, so thinking of stacking there by going Bartel -> Jelwood, leaving O'Meara & Titchell on the bench (but I think I'd bench Stanton if I did that trade...).

Another option I'm surprised isn't being spoken about more is Bartel -> Franklin, actually makes you $30k. Bottom line is, I've got no faith in starting Bartel anymore so why not move him on to someone more worthwhile starting? If I "sideways" trade Bartel I'd still have the same depth on the bench, so keeping Bartel just for bench cover doesn't seem smart if you never feel confident starting him.

What are peoples thoughts?

if you're benching him, then you might as well trade him as he'll lose cash this week

to Buddy/Lewis/Henderson(ADE)/Lynch(ADE) would be my options

personally, im holding, because i'm weilding the axe on Stokes instead

Cheers, and fair move for you Stokes looks to have slowed up and has a massive b/e as well I bet.

Haha I'm actually looking to trade Bartel IN (although most likely won't do it). :o He's still averaging 95 (easy top 6 forward) and the last time he had 3 bad scores in a row earlier in the year, he responded with a 138. You just know that he'll go big when you decide to bench/trade him. :P

That said, I don't mind the trade as he could continue his poor run and Jelwood is on fire. But It's Jimmy Bartel we're talking about, he'll be back.

Actually, I'm going to bench him this week. Bringing in Rockliff for JOM, then swapping Rockliff and Bartel around.

I coulllld potentially put Tmitchell on the bench instead, but think Bartel needs to stay there as a very nice M9. Rockliff has been going very well, and has a very nice run coming up.

Yes, I could have gone -Bartel +Rockliff, but JOM is more expensive, and Bartel *SHOULD* outscore JOM.

That hasn't happened for 4 weeks, and O'Meara v WCE on the expanses of Patersons? Should make his breakeven of 70 easily, and then some...

I do hear you... but, since one of them will be benched this week anyway, I need to consider the rest of the season more heavily. In this case, Bartel has the history and the higher average... *and* is cheaper - I only have $20k after my trades this week.

You did make me re-consider though :)

I don't think I'll trade him out.
