What to do with Swallow?

Bought him in at his peak during the bye rounds and will now be forced to trade him as he is gone for the rest of the season with a Achilles. This has absolutely stuffed the rest of my season with other potential trades I had in mind to improve my team.

With 4 trades left and Dangerfield and Hanley on my bench who is the best straight trade for Swallow?
Assuming he will be close to 445-450k.

I only have 10k in the bank aswell  :-\

no idea on who's priced around that but assuming you dont have Marc Murphy?? still under 400k!!

I've thought about Murphy but not sure if he's durable, burnt me really bad last year.
I can swing Vlaus into mids and trade swallow for a defender if I wanted to.

I guess you need to trade Swallow. Maybe you could afford someone like Lids? If not I reckon Murphy is the best choice.

My suggestion is no straight swap use 2 trades and bring in the best midfielder you don't have.

Who are you looking at Enzedder?

I've got about 35k in the bank...so looking at 485k or so....I don't have a mid/fwd link and best options at that price are Dustin Martin (currently 475k but likely to go up) and Bartel who is 492k...and with a game of 106pts or less against the Roos next round becomes affordable (BE 133).
So one of those two I think. Will wait and see how it pans out...hopefully Bartel and pray my other mids with TMitchell at M8 get me through next round at least.

Agreed, never try to take shortcuts or under priced premiums. You'll end up having to use an extra trade anyway.
