Absolutley devastating news, best of luck to him to make a successful comeback as soon as possible. These sort of injuries particularly frustrating, an innocuous incident that just happened to occur in a game where he really wasn't required, these kind of things come from nowhere hence I can kinda understand clubs that rest gun players late in the year. Not suggesting for one second Swallow should have been rested, just pointing out how anything can happen out there and it's really unfortunate.

Feeling a little (although maybe not quite as full on) as tbag and the Tex saga.

Shattering news for Swallow, one of the toughest players in the comp. He seems to be hurt nearly every week. Hopefully he's back early next year.

Very sad to hear ! Head up Swallow.

That sucks for the roos. I feel for the fans and the club

Here's an interesting fact for you too, prior to today Swallow hadn't missed a game since being a late inclusion to the Rd1 2009 side. Hard as nails.

Hard as nails? Bit of an insult, he's pretty soft. I'd say as hard as hellopplz!

Okay, so Petrie just got named stand-in skipper in the absence of Spitta. Really disappointed they didn't give it to JZ.
