Atm there are really only 2 teams in the race for 2014 :o

Well according to you there was only one in the running last season.
The best team didn't win last season :P

The best team didn't win?  that is a contradiction.... surely to win one must be the best.....

Plenty of good teams in the comp, word was early there were 4 or 5 stand outs early in the season, of which the premiers were not one...

think this season will be neck and neck again, expect to be at the pointy end again but again not confident or cocky enough to say so. Still we have added some firepower for 2014 so we'll give it another shake and see what comes out....

*ON TOPIC - still looking for a youthful ruckman with a future.

If you think Jake Spencer or Tom Hickey have a future, you might be able to get one of 'em.

Colliwobblers

spencer i dont rate much, hickey either but hickey may have a future at the saints as #2.

what would you expect for him?

Considering I only have the one list movement, obviously not too much, he's not really a starter, so a fringe player for my forward line or midfield would do.  :)

Colliwobblers

i could give you green just to shower WHATTY :)

but probably these are viable options...

Daniel Pearce
Dean Kent
Nathan Stark
Jackson Merrett
Thomas Curren

Forwards

Josh Green
George Burbury
Nick Hayes

Jackson Merrett and Thomas Curren are probably the most appealing of the lot. Would prefer Curren, but wouldn't be fussed to take Merrett.

Colliwobblers

yes well curran was a pick 40 but was better than that as a jnr, almost 100kg and almost 200cm tall he cant be far away from making an impact.

merrett was pick 31 and could become a luke ball type british goodness player.

suit yourself i think i will do the deal for either, may end up delisting your ruckman in a year or two but i simply have to improve my young ruck stocks and take some chances.

You know Colli, Idoubt the Hedgehogs would have been seen as a standout side at the start of the season either!

You have the Saint Kilda Curran. I got the North one.

That's what I thought. Colli's describing the North one, but has the Saints one.

The St Kilda one is Tom Curren, the North one is Tom Curran.

I'd be happy to do:

Lobsters give: Tom Hickey (additional list movement)
Werewolves give: Tom Curren

...if you're happy to do that, Colli.  :)

HA thats funny guess it will be merrett then :)  can't see him wanting the saints curran but he will be a player to, I'm not delisting him.

my curren is better than your curran IMO  :P

The saints one EOS was outstanding.
