We got until Sunday to finalise the trade since Ringo is gone now...

I don't mind the trade, but why not keep picks that could get players like Wines and Mayes for Watts.

I can assure you watts will be good, roos will make him his #1 midfielder, wants to turn him into barlow/fyfe.

there will be very few marks for him but a LOT more contested possessions and tackles.

might take awhile but watts will be a gun tall mid, roos says he will and while i may be not 100% confident on watts i am 110% confident on roos ;)

and watts was the #1 draft pick, not his fault he was totally wasted and undeveloped so far... maybe partially his fault.

Yeah I have no doubt he will be a gun one day, how long do you reckon before he becomes midfielder only?

It's another reason the trade was off, when he becomes midfielder only, we have no space for him.

He will keep for next year but it isn't like we are aiming at a 2014 flag, haha.

he might be DPP in fantasy for another 2 seasons i would think but maybe only one, as he will be playing as mid only from day one next season.

big preseason coming up for jack but he will take this chance and smash it i reckon.

Roos said it on fox think it was the prebrownlow or 360 cant remember which show, he is going to turn him into a pure mid simple as that.

like i said he said a tall one like freo's
