Lobsters give: Aaron Black + Pick 11 (both being on-traded since we have no list movements :P)
Owls give: Sharrod Wellingham + Pick 9

Reason: We're on trading Aaron Black who we received from Manchester and Pick 11 from the Hawks for Welly, a DPP player for at least another year (or so seems to be the consensus) and Pick 9, a top 10 pick which we were considering chasing anyway. Both parties are quite happy with this trade as Vinny was quite keen on Black.
seriously?? this is massively uneven

Agree Ric I did comment about it

New coach getting butt raped lol

Nige

Dan Nicholson or Sam Wright could be traded to somebody if they want either one of them, would like a decent enough player of similar quality in return, preferably someone who could vie for a Best XV interchange/utility spot.  :)

(This is permitting both the rule changes are approved).

Ringo

Until now trades have been reasonably easy to rule on but these last 2 are really doing my head in trying to evaluate hence why no decision has yet been made.

Regarding voting still want to give coaches who have not voted the chance to vote by close. Previous experience has been that when voting is announced coaches then do not vote. So far 12 of 18 coaches have voted.

Vinny

I think we might be changing that second trade :-X

Nige

I'm happy to wait for the verdict and then change it if we must.

Vinny

I reckon the first one is pretty fair, maybe the second one needs some revising.

Nige

My hands were tied by the the list movement restrictions, I could only on-trade. I tried to do the best I could given the circumstances. If the rules are approved then tweaking the trade will be easier.

Vinny

We should have a revised trade ready if this gets rejected and the new rules are implemented.

Imo it's a fair trade
