neither an aging defender and midfielder high on PBs wanted list??

Long way below what we talked about for mitchell PB, where you turned down what i think was a better offer?

Interesting trade to assess so may take a while to rule on this one once PB has approved.

Youth v Experience is always hard to be subjective on these type of trades,

better you than me :)

He came to me asking for Murphy, I wanted a young midfielder and we worked something out. :)

Wouldn't say undervaluing Mitchell at all..

Kelly averaged 121 and Murphy 106. He wanted some experience and I wanted youth and picks.

Mitchell is only a first year player and I am giving him experienced but aging players.

Think the trade is fair for both sides mate.

This is the reverse side of trading, the approval side Vinny ;)

Lobsters give: Aaron Black + Pick 11 (both being on-traded since we have no list movements :P)
Owls give: Sharrod Wellingham + Pick 9

Reason: We're on trading Aaron Black who we received from Manchester and Pick 11 from the Hawks for Welly, a DPP player for at least another year (or so seems to be the consensus) and Pick 9, a top 10 pick which we were considering chasing anyway. Both parties are quite happy with this trade as Vinny was quite keen on Black.

Confirmed! :)

How come every trade I make gets :o ? Hahaha.

kilbluff1985

i don't understand the logic in that trade

Wellingham M/F Averages 95 sub affected and injury affected pre season only 25 years old

Black F KPP Averages 79 23 years old

And on top of Wellingham a pick upgrade

so yeah :o

Vinny

We need a forward. They wanted Wellingham.

Wellingham only has one more DPP year. He is a gun but no space in our team for him.

By the time we are looking at a flag, he will be like 28.

Black is younger and has more space for improvement at North and is a forward as I said.

There is the logic :)

I got a Question...

Can we list trades that requires both nat picks, but list movements for next period?

E.g. Brodie Smith, McKenzie and pick 26 for 3 players from another side, but the other side doesn't have 3 movements?  They only have 1 at the time.

Ringo

Good question Lez - Not sure my answer is correct though.

My ruling would be yes but trade would not be approved till second trade period and the 2 movements you have would be transferred to second trade period to allow trade to be completed.

Another rule we probably need to have a discussion about. Do we just combine movements and say a maximum of 10 list movements over the 2 trade periods or do we stick with 5 each. The precedent I set as above looks like I am moving toward a maximum of 1o trades over the 2 trade periods.

kilbluff1985

then people will complain they cant trade after DPP changes if they have no movements i actually like the idea but that's what will happen

I just tried to work out how many picks we'd need to fill our list. With all the picks currently listed that we have (1, 9, 19, 37, 55, 73, 91), we still need 2 more players to fill our senior list, do we fill these via the PSD? We're gonna upgrade Arnot to our senior list using 91 and so we'll have a second spot spare on the rookie list which I assume means we'll only have the two RD picks?

Some clarification would be great.  :)
