Prefer 2 drafts, but not enough to jump up and down either way.

Agree with Oss, 2 but no biggie if we go the 1.

prefer two seperate drafts, or one is fine but i dont think you should be able to nominate rookies, you draft at players to your senior list and preseason players to eitehr senior or rookie list, and you draft rookies to your rookie list. same as afl.

could probably combine the event of both drats into one draft but i would still seperate the players into nat draft picks and rookie draft picks and make clubs use appropriate picks for appropriate players and put them on correspondig list.

I also think 4 nat picks is not enough if we are to promote rookies.

haven't we been trading based on 5 or 6 rounds of nat picks, if there are only going to be 4 nat draft picks each we need to reverse and redo all our trades involving picks in round 5 and 6.

Colli raises a valid point so if happy will revert to the original 6 rounds I had listed which was the basis for 2 trades that have been completed. Will just need consensus to agree to the variation of the rules listed otherwise these 2 trades will be reversed and redo.

These will also be taken into consideration with review being done to clarify.

dont think it will hurt having 6 rounds, help the guys with tons of delistings / retirements, and also allow teams to use the late picks to upgrade their rookies they want to.

and for the teams with limited delistings and retirements they just pass on the late rounds anyway. so no effect in having them or not having them.

helps to balance out the field too i think given clubs with stronger lists can trade picks they don't need to clubs that do need them cheaply with anything they get in return being a win for them , and the picks to the club that does need them being a win for them.

win win :)

Speaking of someone that has to draft heaps I actually combining the drafts would work better for me but I consider that biased opinion I was just disagreeing with people that think its fairer for clubs that have to draft heaps to have two drafts

Funny you say that, I too have a lot of players to draft in the upcoming drafts, but I still prefer two separate drafts.

Willing to on-trade Pick 29 for a defender or forward.

Just thought I'd bump this post in case it got lost in the draft talk and in hope somebody takes action.
