A new trade Sir Ringo.

Birmingham Bombers Give:  Nat Pick #16 + Nat Pick #34 + Nat Pick #70 + Nat Pick #88 + Nat Pick #106

Winchester Werewolves Give:  Mitch Clisby + Nat Pick #49 + Nat Pick #54 + Nat Pick #67 + Nat Pick #72

Reasoning:

1. We need earlier draft picks, just because we don't have one and I'd like to get a new recruit into the club to replace the massacre of youth lost in the ablett trade.

2. We don't need Clisby, we have Vlastuin and Thurlow and a couple of others at that same stage of development in defence.

3. Speaking for the Bombers, Clisby is an 84 averaging BXVS defender - quality and rare. and young. and a new outstanding coach.

4. We also get an early pick upgrade and give up many other pick upgrades to the Bombers as compensation.

Lol don't know why you quoted the whole thing but anyway we have to use 9 picks so this is useful to us to do the pick upgrades

Well I was about to delist Shane Kersten then I heard his name mentioned by Ch 7 last night sayng he might play the Prelim final so I figured I got away with one there. :P

Meanwhile, all quiet down at the Hurricanes, only made the one trade so far. :) I'm not too displeased, I think this team is going to get better next season.

All I'm after is a fwd, and they are the hardest to come by. :(
The badgers have plenty of forwards!

Brandon Matera
Paul Puopolo
Sam Mayes
Ben McGlynn
Thomas Lynch
Alex Fasolo
Shaun Higgins
Jared Petreko
Dennis Armfield
Jesse White
Stephen Milne
Robin Nahas
Josh Simpson
Ayden Kennedy

We got no defenders now, so please hit us up with a defender who averages around 80. Cheers.

clisby averaged 84 but i just gave him away :) i have others but will not be able to do anything until period 2.

Oh, yeah, a reason. I don't think I need one tbh, it's Sam Blease, everyone knows why I'd want him haha #willbeapremiumoneday #Onlyoneonthebandwagon #Itoldyouso #Willcrywhenhedoeswell

drafted him in AXVS agree with you he will be premium very good one day - if he impresses roos and stays in the picture, probably be very good soon...

Ringo

Apologies all should read the rules more  ;) ;)

3.3 Each team will be allocated 4 picks in the National Draft which may be used in the draft, or traded on to other teams.

4.4 Each team will be allocated 3 picks in the Rookie Draft which may be used in the draft, or traded on to other teams.

I have now started a separate thread for the National Draft where I have only listed 4 rounds but then listed a subsidiary round where picks will be allocated to take your Senior list to 24.

Just another thought here with the National Draft on 21st November and Rookie Draft on 27th November should we just combine both drafts and allow teams to pick their 45 players and then nominate their 4 rookies, Thought appreciated and if necessary will send out a vote to adjust rules.

Personally with the 2 drafts so close would prefer the one draft with seven rounds and then a subsidiary round for teams that do not have their full quota of 45 players.  Will mean that 2nd trade period will commence on completion of Draft.

Keep an eye on the trades approval thread as i will be posting all trades there along with approvals.

So for example if we combined both drafts we could take a rookie player in the 1stcround if we wanted?

Nige

I prefer having two separate drafts, I think it's much fairer.
