so being that we have to trade equal numbers of picks and or players in a trade i can't offload a number of picks i don't plan on making use of.

pending finals teams in the AFL delistments i am looking to trade the following picks to improve my national draft pick #70

so the plan being to take lower picks for all other picks and get a higher nat draft pick for my pick #70

MY PICKS ON OFFER:  Nat 70 , Nat 72 , Nat 90 , Rook 36 , Rook 54 , Rook 72

so for example:

I give: nat 70 + nat 72 + nat 90 + rook 36 + rook 54 + rook 72

I get: nat 30 + nat 100 + nat 118 + rook 60 + rook 70 + rook 90

makes sense, i'm looking for the one pick upgrade and offering to take much lower picks for all my other picks offered.

being a straight pick trade won't count as any list movments.

will consider all offers and take the best :)

Good luck, all those picks are worthless :P

elephants

Props to anyone who sorts out a mass pick deal like that :P

not really the rook picks are not worthless and nor are 70 / 72 nat picks.

some teams will lose as many as 12 players from their teams and have to draft deep.

also don't forget everyone has to delist some pretty quality players to make room for new draft picks, so if you want your 6 nat draft picks you need to find 6 players to cut.

18 teams cutting 6 players each + the afl preseason and rookie draft players.

the talent in the rookie draft shold go very deep.

#36 and #54 in the rookie draft may be very good players.

I have spent the last 2 days looking at my list and checking players VFL seasons, i need to delist 6 players ( none delisted by afl clubs, none retired)

and to be honest i am struggling to pick the 6, not one has not had a great season in the seconds. or shown something in the afl.

so if multiple clubs in the same situation, then yes those rookie picks might get you some good players indeed. Since who we delist goes into our preseeason rookie draft...

i might ned up delisting sam fisher and chris dawes and james sellar and brad sheppard and josh green and dean kent yet.

not aweful players to score in the rookie draft.

and i wouldnt say the late nat picks are worthless either, just a matter of knowing a bit about the players on offer, i guess thats the difference between struggling to find a spud you want to delist the next season becasue your players even your late picks and rookie picks are all going well and all still listed. and being in a situation where half your team gets delisted by their afl clubs without you even having a say :)

JBs-Hawks

People wont be delisting half decent players. They will just chose to throw away that nat/rookie pick

throw away 3rd and 4th round picks? even 5th to keep a player that has never played a game? we will see i guess....

i'm willing to bet most will take the picks and delist "diamonds in the rough" just because they don't follow the vfl and the players havent played afl games yet.

be interesting to see, i almost wish i had more spuds because i have a feeling there will be a plethora of talent available in this seasons rookie/preseason draft.

Well I was about to delist Shane Kersten then I heard his name mentioned by Ch 7 last night sayng he might play the Prelim final so I figured I got away with one there. :P

Meanwhile, all quiet down at the Hurricanes, only made the one trade so far. :) I'm not too displeased, I think this team is going to get better next season.

All I'm after is a fwd, and they are the hardest to come by. :(

Lol some people have to draft 12 players like me :P I may actually work something out later and pm you Colli

Nige

Yeah, I think I counted us having to draft 11 players...

Colliwobblers

that's got to make earlyish rook picks and late middle nat picks worth upgrading too after all...

still all clubs in different situations, worthless to me and obviously JB too, but gold to others...

if you have to use picks 90 and 100 or whatever you have, better to have to use picks 70 and 72 instead
