Its not comparing rucks to mids or Goldy/Minson to Swallow. Its just comparing a young gun ruck (Nicholls) to a proven Premo (Goldy/Minson). If you had either of those premo's would you trade them for Nicholls?

Different teams have different aims and times in which they are competitive.

Say you had Gaz now and he is as proven as it gets. I would consider trading him for Jaeger if my team was super young cause Gaz is useless to me.

It could do, or you could look at it the other way and decide to load up on midfielders who destroy this scoring system and not waste time on backs or rucks.
