Trade ideas anyone?

Sitting 9th in my league after my opponent pulled some scores out of nowhere. Winning my last 2 matches gets me top 8 guaranteed. Here's my team;

Def- Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Duffield, Shaw, Wilson (Clisby, Hanley)
Mid- Ablett, Pendles, Jelwood, Mundy, Lids, Priddis, JPK, T Mitchell (Hrovat, Kmart)
Ruck- Goldy, Maric (Nicholls, Grimley)
Fwd- Walker, Rocky, Cox, Zorko, SJ, Staker (NicNat, Bennedy)

4 trades, $17,900

Should be an easy win this week, opponent will probably have a few donuts without trading, but I want to make sure I get the win. And the way I see it, there's no point in having trades left if I finish 9th. Not sure whether I should make an upgrade in forwards or mids, think it's best to trade NicNat. Problem is, I'm a few thousand short of getting Nroo or Dusty, so thinking I should make a downgrade somewhere. Thoughts? Could maybe downgrade Clisby to a fwd/def rookie and switch with Staker, not sure on other options. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With 4 trades and a easy win I would sit tight unless late outs change things.

Hmm it's a tough one with no great downgrade options putting their hand up.

As NicNat won't lose $$$ any you are free of donuts with an easy opponent.

Rumour is Heppell might be a late out. Would actually help me as I have cover and my opponent doesn't at this stage.

I would have to get a defender who is 457k or less. And I'm hoping to hold Hanley for this week and see if any other news comes up about him. Basically everyone in the top 8 has him anyway, and I know at least 3 of the top 4 have 4 trades or less.

Your team is solid, but as you say, no point finishing ninth with ammo in the barrell. You probably need to burn two trades to make it worthwhile though as you don't have much in the kitty. Nic Nat to Daniher, Hrovat or K.Martin to a premium mid? Having T.Mitchell on the pine is a luxury!

If Bennedy was getting games, I'd definitely be considering this, but I don't really want Daniher and Kennedy as my fwd cover, as all it takes is another stupid decision from SJ and I'm eating donuts. Was thinking of downgrading one of Maric/Nicholls to McBean next week though to enable me to upgrade in mids. Cheers for the help though  :)
