So last upgrade.

385k to spend

Already upgraded Goodes to Mckenzie this week and staker can cover hanley. Would really like to win this week (bragging rights) and attempt to make up some ground on total points in my league. I know all these mids have high be's but does that really matter at this stage of the season? Only time I might need cash is if i decide to do something with nic nat

What premo mid do you think is best??

Beams- POD, potential to go big, has only played two games and scored 88, 141 (141 against GC) BE 187

Barlow- Ultra consistent, good run home BE 143

Griffen- Not really considering BE 157

Or hold...

Current team with 5 trades (after goodes --> mckenzie):

Def:
God, Gibbs, Hart, Hepp, Hanley, Mckenzie (Staker, Webster)

Mid:
Pendles, Ablett, Danger, Swan, Priddis, JPK, J Selwood, T Mitchell (Hrovat Kennedy)

Ruck:
Cox Nicholls (mcbean, currie)

Fwd:
Rock, Martin, Buddy, JJK, Stevie J, Walker (Nic Nat, Rowe)

pikla

you already have Pendles and Swan so no to Beams for me. I would choose Griffen but based purely on the fixture and SC finals you can't go past Barlow

fever

not sure why you arent considering griffin. pretty easily the 3rd best performed mid this year.

enzedder

Of those 3. Griffen. Had the best SC season. Ranked 9th best player atm on total pts including 2 missed games. Averaging 123. What more do you want?

 Barlow's cheaper?  :P Nah I don't know

Im aware he can belt out big scores but I'd rather 100's every week than 150 then 70 then 140 then 70

Griffen has had 1 game under 90, and 7 out of 14 over 130... Just to consider.

Buddy are you serious? Griff scored 53 in an injury affected game where he was subbed off but apart from that has scored 89 and 76, and every other game he's tonned up with 7 games above 130. Barlow's gone under 100 more times than Griffen and only gone over 130, 4 times, so your point is invalid?

Griff is the better choice, has the bigger ceiling, has a good run of games at Etihad where he usually dominates, and in Rd 23 against Melbourne he'll go crazy.

Griff for me IMO.

Sorry I was wrong but that's just what I thought
I actually researched it after saying that but became distracted and didn't repost

Seems like pretty easy decision now

Has to be Griffen doesn't it, one of the top 3 MIDS in the comp.
