Can get 1 fwd or bck through swinging staker.

Opposition have Walker.

Must win this week else I'm done for this year.

Which one?

Depends heavily on what your PODs are like. If you have the upper hand on PODs then I would take the safe route and get Walker.Roughy and Walker will score more than Cannon on average I think, Roughy probably nudge ahead but had a bad week last week, Walker definitely not a bad choice. If you need a POD, Roughy. If you have the better PODs, Walker.

If I get Walker we have 6 pods

Otherwise 7.

The question is more who they are? For example if you had Griffen, Barlow, Stevie J, Minson, Goldstein Roughy and Rockliff, while they had Stanton, Swallow, Gray, Sauce, Maric, Walker and Lewis, you'd expect your 7 to smash them easily. So you play it safe and get in Walker to cancel out his effect, and leave the other 6 to go to town on your opponent. But if the match up is pretty close, ie you're not confident your PODs will outscore your opponents, then you take a risk on a POD to win you the game (in this case Roughy instead of cancelling Walker. The idea is that if you get Walker you negate his impact for your opponent, but also he has no impact for you. You get Roughy, then you risk him having a poor game, for the potential reward of him going a decent amount of points more than Walker...

ok here we go, b4 walker trade

him:

barlow, minson, franklin, jjk, houli, ibbo

me:
cotchin, goldstein, leuey, sj, rowe, gibbs

Who's the 7th if he has Walker, you have?

Pretty even I think.

Barlow > Cotchin
Minson = Goldy
Leuey = JJK
Franklin < SJ
Houli > Rowe
Ibbo < Gibbs (Pretty close to even though)

I reckon he's probably a touch ahead, SJ will outscore Franklin by more than Barlow will outscore Cotchin, but Houli will out-do Rowe. Pretty touch and go though, coinflip really.

It's Goodes -> Walker.

Thought Cotchin might be better than Barlow and Rowe, yeah only really good for a 40-50. Was hoping Franklin wouldn't play this week :(

So still going roughie over walker?

I would probably grab Roughy, simply because with Franklin playing, it's likely one of two things will happen: Franklin goes big and Roughy's score suffers, but you're screwed if Franklin goes big anyway, or Roughy kills it and Franklin suffers - so either you get a double win or a double lose. If you grab Walker and Franklin goes big, I think you're still screwed so may as well double up and get Roughy.

Still, I think Franklin will probably be the player who decides the outcome of those PODs, with a little bit of Backup on the Barlow vs Cotchin match up.

Your decision at the end of the day, good luck whichever way you go.
