usual Thursday night dliemma

rightio.. No Goodes, Hanley, Dangerfield, Bartel.. now Hrovat is out so Im eating 2 donuts.. So.. with 5 trades and 185k left.. do I do a double trade?

team is..

Goddard, Gibbs, Hartlett, TMcKenzie, Hanley, Goodes (terlich,thurlow)

Ablett, Pendles, Barlow, JPK, Cotchin, Priddis, Dangerfield, tMitch (hrovat,kmart)

Goldstein, Minson (nicholls,rowe)

Walker, Cox, SJ, Rockliff, Staker, JKK (lamb bartel)

looking at a couple of options.. Keeping Danger and trading Hrovat to Marc Murphy?? and Goodes to SThompson?? Or trading Danger to Swan and keep TMitch for the season most likely.. cannot decide now Hrovat got rested now.. what ya reckon?? im in 5 leagues and desperatly need to win 2 games in 1 league to get in the 8..

I really like the idea of Hrovat > Murphy. Would that leave you enough to get Heath Shaw for Goodes?

Although if you're desperate to win it really is worth considering Danger > Swan, who could potentially have an enormous one this week.

Danger --> Swan/Murphy(for cash)
Goodes --> B Wilson

Risky but Wilson fills in with Terlich, waiting for Hanley to come back - obviously JS dependent ...

OR

how about ...

Goodes --> Daniher (JS issues too) by moving Staker to backs as you've got Lamb already covering fwds as well ... then you can have Staker covering til Hanley gets back?? ;)

yeah mate.. sneek in by 13k.. hrovat to Murph allows me to rotate Murph/tMitch later in the season with Kmart as the non player.. heath shaw not sure I really want him though..

Then how about Goodes to best defender you can afford or trade Goodes and move Staker into defence and bring in the best possible forward. I'm not sure who you could bring in though.

Your predicament of different needs for different leagues is the only reason I support having more than one team.

You'll blow your trades in a desperate (forlorn?) bid to get into finals in one league and while you do this you compromise your team going forward in the other leagues.

I would rank your leagues in order of significance (ie bragging rights or cash) and make choices that are biased towards the important leagues.

The best way to get to finals in your worst league is to do 2 sideways trades this very week.

Goodes out and move Staker back. That would give 6 defenders. Grab the best forward you can. Maybe Roughead or Martin?

Danger to Swan is good too.

Need to prioritise HT!

hmm interesting.. best possible fwd? would mean probably Cox/JKK as the F7 though.. bit of a waste perhaps?? solid bench cover though!

nice write up. Yeah 1 game out of the 8 in 1 league even though Im the 2nd highest overall scorer in that league.. rest I'm a good chance of at least top 4. 2 winnable games in the league im struggling..

hmm.. you have merit with the sideways call.. Staker going nicely..best FWDs I dont have.. Rough and Marto have tough fixtures this week so might see who else could be a good call.. Danger to Swan looks tasty but I'd be a little be it peeved if Danger comes back next week though!! need to think about your reply mate.. very interesting!

hmm can do Goodes to Grimes and Hrovat to Montagna?? Monty in decent form, no one has him but playing Geelong.. Grimes in a tagging role but possibly value despite me not being a fan of picking him up at this time of year..

or Goodes to Newman.. hear me out lol and Hrovat to 552k middy .. I know Newman isn't a great pick but the fact that he will play the rest of the season.. i know what ill get from him.. 60-90 and can get a a real decent premo like a Jack or a Jack Steven.. just some food for thought..

Hrovat to best mid possible

Loophole Daniher and Lambshanks via Bartel..

Silly idea? Keep dangerfield, makes use of Staker while in form

Hmm had a good look at my opponents team..

Goddard,Hibberd,Hanley,shaw,Gibbs,ibbotson(goodes clisby)

Gaz, pendles, swan, selwood, jpk, priddis, Fyfe, t Mitch (crouch Martin)

Nic nat, Nicholls (wits,currie)

Walker, bartel, cox, Martin, rockliff, jkk(staker Bennedy)

Pretty strong side. Better defence but rucks are weak if he doesn't trade.. Reckon this might re think my trades! Can I afford to trade in Daniher?
