Nic Nat out this week

WEST Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui remains in doubt for the club's crucial clash with the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Naitanui has been hampered by groin and quad injuries over the past few weeks and is yet to find the All Australian form he displayed in 2012.

However, when contacted by AFL.com.au on Wednesday morning, an Eagles spokesperson denied claims Naitanui was a 'certainty' to miss Sunday's match.

The 23-year-old's availability looms as pivotal, as the Eagles look to keep their slim finals hopes alive against the  in-form Will Minson and on-ball pair Ryan Griffen and Tom Liberatore.

West Coast coach John Worsfold will speak to the media at 1pm Perth time (3pm AEST) today.

Hmm might downgrade nicnat to a rook, play nicholls as r2 until he shows me reason not to and play gawn as r3. Nicholls has been outscoring him easily anyway in recent weeks. Nicnat is locked next year if he gets a full pre season.
