Is it a stupid thought to downgrade Hanley this week to a rookie and make a shower load of cash and play Staker at D6. His scoring has been good of late and they have a good run coming up. I am running T.Mitchell at M8 and i wanna upgrade a rookie so i can put him as my bench cover. this trade would allow this. 98,78,92 in the past 3 is more than acceptable for a backman which lacks stocks. Thoughts ?

Staker is a FWD/Back!  :P

Probably not the worst idea, but Staker could throw in a dodgy 50 and make you second guess that strategy...

hardnut

Not unreasonable at all, nobody you bring in for Hanley will guarantee you not to get a 50-odd. B.Wilson could be decent if he squeezes into the WCE team.

Ricochet

Not a bad short term solution but don't be surprised if he pumps out a 40 or 50

That's what I'm doing, Hanley out and slotting Staker into that spot at least for this week, will get you 70 odd each week, not many good options back there

disco1992

Looking at playing stakes this week before turning him and clisby into ibbo and enright next week!

Staker can smash the bottom teams, does Port fit in that category?

Not sure if this is a rhetorical question but anyway

In most losses they concede a large amount of DT points against and also in wins they still concede a few DT points. I would back Staker in to do alright this week but not every week. I guess it depends on what the result is. Will the Lions win?

The lions are to inconsistent to tell I think. In there current form they can, but I can't tell.

Its been a weird season. I still can't decide whether Port are the real deal or not. They have beaten some decent sides this year but I still see them as a bottom 8 team  :o
